You find Pierre’s phone. On it, you see a text he sent to his friend, H2Overlord. He describes how he went to the local sponge store to buy the giant sponge.

Next to his phone, you see a yellow pad with tons of notes and doodles on it. In the middle of the page are some strange marks resembling a series of wavy lines and raindrops.

Hint #1 Hint #1: Take note of the yellow pad.
Hint #2 Hint #2: Pierre wrote the book on codes.
Hint #3 Hint #3: Finish filling out the letters on the book, then use it to crack the code on the pad.

You find a map of the city labeled “Where to Drop the Sponge.” There are five locations, each marked with a symbol, as well as a “Date Visited” label.

Hint #2 Hint #2: The dates are the important take away.
Hint #3 Hint #3: The dates are subtraction problems. Do them then match the shapes of the locations to the numbers 1-5.

On a computer screen, you see some notes Pierre has made about water.

Hint #2 Hint #2: This puzzle leans towards being hard.
Hint #3 Hint #3: Some words in the message are slanted. These are the numbers.

On Pierre’s communications console, you tune into a radio station that is broadcasting a strange series of words. In order to stop the giant sponge from being dropped on the city, you must figure out this puzzle!

Hint #3 Hint #3: Start listening for the colors after the notes ascend in pitch. Stop listening for colors after the notes descend in pitch.
